When I saw the pattern in the bubble wrap, I thought we can do mandala with that. The bubble wrap we used had backing. Otherwise it could be used as a sun catcher too.
Materials needed:
1. Bubble wrap
2. Sharpie permanent marker
We started coloring the bubble at center of the bubble wrap and followed the patterns in the bubble wrap. The position of the bubbles guided us with the design.
Thought of finishing the mandala with a circle but our bubble wrap was pretty small and did not have much space for extension.
We have used the bubble wrap for painting earlier. This is the first time we created mandala. Overall it is a simple but fun experiment.
This activity can be done during travel too which makes it perfect for summer.
Thanks for reading the post! Hope you enjoyed reading it.
Very cool idea! Not sure I could keep my kiddos from playing with the bubble wrap to keep it for this art activity. Ha! But I think my 6 year old would get into this. Thanks for sharing!!
That’s true Kristina. Thanks for your comments!
Oh, I love this! How fun! My boys are always fighting over the bubble wrap when we get packages delivered. They are always so excited to pop all the bubbles. I’ll have to show them this so we can get creative before they pop them all next time. Thanks for the great idea!
Thanks Sharon for your comment! Yes. My kids love to pop them too.
Beautiful..
Thanks
