Hi Everyone,
We are so ready to welcome Spring. Though the winter was not bad in California this year, we are looking forward to Spring and started working our ways to welcome it.
As a first step we decorated our window with these beautiful bright colored flowers, lady bugs, butterflies and tulips.
Materials
1. Foam shapes
2. Water
There is no step for this simple and fun activity. Just dip your foam shape in the water..
and stick it in the window. Please excuse me for the dried plants. Of course they are also waiting for the Spring. :)). Excuse again for the mesh in the picture. I realized and removed after few shots.
Dip and stick again
and again…
Enjoy the process!
Color sort the shapes and add educational value to the project
Decorate until you like to do
The window was beautifully lit and my toddler was very happy about her work.
The only downside of this project is that the shapes fall down once they are dried. Next time I will try to make it a little more permanent.
So, what is your plan to welcome Spring?
How fun! I love activities like this that are simple and come together fast 🙂 Messy crafts and projects are nice but sometimes you just need something quick and easy.
Yes. Even I love project which does not need any preparation from my side :). Thanks for your comments
I love that foam sticks to some surfaces when wet. We play with it in the bathtub, but I didn’t think to try it on the windows! Good idea!
Thanks Emma for your comments!
