As a home with 2 girls, it is filled with bangles. Lots of bangles are lying around without much use as they are small for my elder one and big for my younger one. We put a lot of use to these bangles by playing with our homemade play dough.
I just gave my toddler play dough in a plate and some bangles and straw. First she explored pressing bangles in the play dough making circles. I showed her how to insert the straws in the play dough. She loved it and was repeating again and again.
Then slowly introduced her to put the bangles in the straw. We did count the bangles.
I made some holes in the dough with the straw and encouraged her to insert straw on those holes. She did not enjoy much.
How can we play with bangles without wearing them! Wearing bangles gave her a different level of challenge. She wanted me to wear them and we learnt about small and big.
My toddler enjoyed playing with the bangles as they had a nice texture and made noise. I still wonder how such a simple object makes the smaller ones happy.
