We love spring and painting flowers. Painting poppy flowers and wet on wet watercolor flowers are our favorite flower painting activities. As weather is getting better at California, we made our first simple and fun flower activity for this year. Flowers are made by simply stamping with a cup used to drink water!
Materials needed: (affiliation link)
2. Copier paper
3. Drinking cup – I chose one which had a small radius.
Method:
1. The process is pretty simple. Drip 4 or 5 drops of paint on the paper in the shape of a circle.
2. Place the cup on the paint drop and turn it in a clock wise direction to make a circle petal.
This is how a petal looks…isn’t beautiful!
3. Finish the flower by placing and rotating the cup at all the paint drops. Put a drop of yellow paint at the center of the petals.
4. Follow the same steps to print few flowers on the paper.
Isn’t it a very simple process? The kids can do this beautiful painting with ease.
