Have you ever tried painting in the Mod Podge? We created this window cling by painting in the Mod Podge in the aluminium foil. The combination seems interesting, right? It would make a perfect window decoration for Easter!
Materials needed: (affiliation links are used)
1. Mod Podge
3. Acrylic paint
4. Egg template
5. Tape
6. Brush
7. Q-tips
Method:
1. Cut an egg template from a cardboard. We used cereal box.
2. Cut the foil slightly bigger than the template.
3. Attach the foil to the work table with a piece of tape.
4. Tape the template on the aluminium foil.
5. Pour Mod Podge in the template and spread it with the paint brush. Slowly remove the template
6. Pour acrylic paint on the wet Mod Podge. Using q-tips spread the paint.
7. Let it dry. We kept overnight for drying.
8. Once dry, slowly peel the egg from the foil.
8. It sticks to the window without additional glue. I could remove the egg again from the window too!(that is more important). Enjoy your creation!
Being in the second floor apartment, I can’t open the window to clean it. Hence the water marks! |
