My elder daughter receives nail polish as gifts from her friends. She has a wide variety of nail polishes. We used those nail polishes to paint the Easter egg!
Materials
1. Nail polishes
2. Plastic Easter eggs
3. A bowl with water
Method
1. Take water at room temperature in a bowl.
2. Put a drop of nail polish to the water. The polish should spread in the water. Few polishes spread for us and few did not.
This is the part my daughters enjoyed the most. It was so much fascinating to see the nail polish spread.
3. Take half of the plastic egg. Immerse the egg in the water. The polish will paint the egg.
We should have taken a wider bowl for the complete half egg to get painted.
4. Repeat the steps for the other half.
5. Nail polish painted Easter egg is done!
The photo did not do justice. The egg is very pretty!

We did eggs with nail polish, too! I did’t think plastic ones would work, so we used real eggs. I love your aluminum foil eggs!
I was amazed to see that we posted similar activities on the same day!
These look really pretty – Peakles would love to make them as they are shiny!!
Please try with Peakles and let me know how it went!
What a clever way to paint eggs and use up some old nail polish! I love it!
Thanks Laura!
Beautiful. I can share this idea with my friends.
