Spring is here! Isn’t exciting? Though winter was not bad in California this year, we were waiting for Spring to come. I have seen a thin purple flower in bushes in the street. I searched for the name but could not find one! If anybody know the name, please let me know. We made those flowers! It is very simple to make.
Materials:
1. Construction paper (aff. link)
2. Scissors
Method:
1. Cut the construction paper into thin strips. Our strip was 2 inches in width.
2. Roll the construction paper width wise. Make sure it is not too loose nor too tight. In fact, it is loose in the picture below as it rolled back when I took the picture.
3. Make slits that are around 1 inch in length in one end. We made 3 slits.
4. Pull the inner most paper slowly. It will bring all other layers out. The thin purple flower is done!
Didn’t I say it is simple?
