We are so much looking forward for summer! Though we love spring, this year’s allergy had made me to think about summer. We love to welcome summer with a simple sun painting. The coloring was done by my preschooler and the art was finished by my nine year old.
Materials needed:
1. Acrylic paint
2. Printer paper
3. Brush
4. Scissors
5. Paper
Method:
1. My preschooler painted the printer paper completely with yellow and red colored acrylic paint.
2. My nine year old folded the paper in half. She drew three semi circles on the folded half.
3. She drew triangles for the rays in the outer most circle.
4. She cut out the inner most circle and the outer side of the triangles.
5. Unfolded the paper and pasted on the painting done by her sister. The simple sun painting is done!
I gives me immense pleasure to see my daughters work or play together. My nine year old was able to work independently once I told her my idea.
