Today’s post is about a simple polar bear craft. My preschooler loves to cut, paste and paint. I am doing crafts with her which involve cutting, pasting and painting. This polar bear craft was enjoyed by her. We read a polar bear book to go with the craft and the book became her favorite!

Materials needed to make this polar bear craft:
- Neenah Color Paper
- White tempera paint
- White printer paper
- Child safe scissors
- School glue
- Googly eyes
- Paint brush
- Black marker
Method to follow for this polar bear craft:
Color the blue color Paper with white tempera paint. I borrowed this picture from my penguin craft as I had missed taking a picture of this step. Let it dry.
Draw a circle with a bowl in the white printer paper or construction paper. The circle will make the head of the bear.
Draw an inverted “U” in the white paper for the body of the polar bear.
Draw two more small circles for the ears of the polar bear.
Let the child cut the parts out with the child safe scissors.
Paste the body of the polar bear to the painted background with school glue. Add the head and the ears.
Attach the Googly eyes. As our polar bear head was little big, I chose the bigger size eyes.
Draw the nose and mouth using the black sharpie.
The polar bear craft is done! As I mentioned, it just involves cutting and pasting which all preschoolers love! My daughter took her bear to preschool the next day to show it to her friends! The girl is so proud of her creation.
