Simple snowman crafts are always fun to do with kids. As my preschooler loves to paint, we made a very simple snowman painting. The snowman painting we made with kitchen scrubber was a hit in our house. So I thought my daughter would enjoy this painting too. And, she did!

Materials needed for this simple snowman painting:
- Tempera paint or acrylic paint. We used acrylic paint as we ran out of white tempera paint. Tempera paint would work fine too.
- Color papers
- A cup with flat bottom.
- Child safety scissors
Method to paint:
- Pour a drop of paint directly on the paper.
- Place the cup on the paint and twist it until it forms the circle. Lift the cup. We have made the head of the snowman 🙂
- Repeat the same process to make circles for snowman body. Make eyes using black paint with the back of the paint brush.
- Draw the snowman’s hat & hands in black paper and nose in orange paper. Let the child cut them out using a child safety scissors. My daughter could not cut the hands of the snowman. So she drew it using a black marker. The simple painting is done!
The painting was very simple for my preschooler. She was happy to make circles using the cup! She was explaining to her sister when she was back from school.
