Snowflakes Christmas decorations for kids

Winter Craft ideas : Simple Snowflakes painting

We had 6 inches of snow yesterday morning and the kids had nice time playing in the snow. My preschooler had a lot of questions about snow. We painted the paper snowflakes in the evening as our snowy day craft activity. It is one of the simplest winter craft ideas we have done at our home. Dot to dot snowflakes for kids

  1. Printer paper – Printer paper is for making the snowflakes. My ten year old made snowflakes after watching these youtube videos – Video 1 and Video 2.  However store brought snowflake cutouts can also be used.
  2. Do A Dot markers

Method:

1. Make Snowflakes out of printer paper. If you would like to use cutouts, snowflake cutouts are available here.

5. Remove the painted snowflakes slowly. My daughter could not wait for it to dry. We removed the snowflakes immediately. They came out fine.

6. The paper underneath was painted beautifully too which I was not expecting. It was a bonus!

7. Let the snowflakes and the paper dry. Decorate your house with painted snowflakes and frame the snowflakes printed in the paper. Snowflakes Christmas decorations for kids
