I can’t believe that we are in the middle of February and St.Patrick’s day is just around the corner. Today’s post is about one of the simplest St Patricks crafts – painting Shamrocks with water bottle lid. We have already made Christmas light using water bottle lid. It is always fun to use day today materials for creating art projects.
St Patricks Crafts!
Materials needed:
- Water bottle with lid
- Washable tempera paint
- White printer paper
- Paint brush
Method:
- Pour Green paint onto a wide pan.
- Dip the water bottle lid in the paint and print it on the white printer paper to make a circle. As holding the entire water bottle was easy for my preschooler than the lid alone, we used the entire water bottle with lid for our painting.
- Make three or four circles, each circle touching each other making Shamrocks.
- Draw the stem with paint brush. We drew the stems in different directions.
That’s it! Shamrock painting is done! It was super easy for my preschooler. She repeated painting shamrocks in the entire paper.
So, What do you think? You can use this idea to create gift wraps in no time.
