Water bottle lid is becoming our favorite painting tool like the stainless steel kitchen scrubber. We had used kitchen scrubber to create the simple dandelion painting. Did you get a chance to try dandelion painting? The same way we used water bottle lids to create Shamrocks. Here is another Shamrock painting, a perfect St.Patrick’s day art.
St.Patrick’s day art!
Materials needed to create this Shamrock painting:
- Three water bottle lids or soda can lids
- Washable tempera paint
- Glue gun
- Printer paper
Method:
- Attach three lids together in a triangular shape with hot glue. Pour the green tempera paint in a wide pan.
- Coat the lids with the paint and print in the paper.
- Repeat printing shamrocks covering the entire paper.
- We outlined the Shamrocks with a green sharpie which is totally optional.
Shamrock painting is done! I like it without outline however my daughter liked it with outline. Which one do you like?
