Whenever possible, I want to involve both my toddler and my 2nd grader together in activities. It is usually very difficult because of their age difference. I thought egg decoration with tissue paper and stickers can be done by both. My first daughter was able to complete her activity but toddler needed her big sister’s help.
Materials needed
1. Plastic egg
2. Tissue paper
3. Glue
4. Stickers
Tear the tissue paper into pieces. Both of them enjoyed tearing the paper. Add 1 portion of water to 2 portion of glue. My 2nd grader did this.
I brushed glue onto my toddler’s egg and placed it on the mouth of a small bottle so that she could use both her hands for decoration.
She did decorate half of her egg. But she was more interested in dumping the tissue paper into the glue .
But my first daughter was very interested in covering the egg. She dipped the tissue paper in glue+water mixture and pasted the paper carefully and covered her egg completely. She completed her sister’s egg also.
We dried the eggs for 2 hours.
Once the eggs were dried, we used the stickers to decorate the eggs. We had only Christmas stickers on hand which did not bother my kids.
Stickers gave an opportunity to work on their fine motor skill too.
This egg decoration is simple and fun for all ages. I am happy that I could involve both my kids in the fun.

I love this fun idea …. I’m always looking for ways to help my twin boys work on their Fine Motor Skills.
Great to see you at The Thoughtful Spot!

Christmas stickers on Easter eggs – that’s the whole of Jesus’ life cycle, isn’t it? 😉

Wow! What an interpretation? 🙂
Thanks Gude for your visit and comment
These eggs are so colourful and vibrant. I love them! Have pinned to my Easter Inspiration board #pintorials xx
Thanks Damson
I love everything about this, although I think we’d have to stick to just the stickers for now for our daughter. She is only 1 1/2, but I like the idea of her being able to decorate some eggs somehow. 🙂
I really love this! Thanks so much for sharing with the Monday Pin it Party. I have chosen it as one of my top two posts to pin in tomorrows party 🙂
