Weaving is classic, simple and mess-free. We made a paper woven art inspired by the design in our straw mat. Along with that, I have collected 15 more simple awesome weaving projects.
About our project :
Materials needed:
1. Construction papers
2. Scissors
Method:
We cut 13 strips of purple paper about 1/2 inch in width. Folded the white paper and made 17 slits starting from the folded edge leaving 1/2 inch uncut portion at all other three sides.
Opened the white paper and wove the purple paper in the slit of the white paper as per the design. Looks simple but my nine year old took a lot of time to replicate the design.
How does it look?
