This is the first time we have done doilies painting. It is painting over doilies. We used heart doilies to make it a Valentine’s day craft. It is a mess free activity which is a bonus!

Doilies Painting!

Materials required to make Doilies painting:

1. Doilies (Of course :-))
2. Sharpie or paint
3. Printer paper

Method:

1. We arranged the heart doilies on the white paper like a flower. 
2. Initially we tired painting with do-a-dot marker like we did our snowflakes painting. Since the holes in the doilies were small, we did not get the doilies print properly.
3. So, we moved on to sharpie and colored over the doilies. We could have used paint as we did in the Valentine’s day greeting cards.
4. The design on the doily got printed on the paper creating a beautiful doilies painting.

This is a simple quite activity which can be done on a cold evening with a cup of coffee. Believe me, it sure does relax you.
