Today’s post an easy fruit painting. We will be making a cluster of grapes using tempera paint and a water bottle cap. It is a very simple painting that both my kids, ages five and ten, enjoyed.
Easy fruit painting!
Materials required for the grapes painting:
- Water bottle cap (Attached to the water bottle)
- Tempera paint in purple color
- Green marker
Step-by-Step Instructions:
- First, pour some purple paint into a wide pan or paper plate. We usually use paper plate as a palette because it is easy to dispose of after a couple of uses.
- Then, dip the water bottle’s cap in the paint until it is thoroughly covered with paint. We used the bottle along with the lid because it was easier for my toddler to hold.
- Print overlapping circles while maintaining a triangular shape.
- Let the paint dry completely.
- Lastly, add a stem and vine with a green marker so it looks like a real grape.
These grapes look good enough to eat! What do you think? Comment below and share your ideas!
