Whenever my toddler wants to paint, my first choice is dot to dot markers. We had done bleaching effect in watercolor with lemon juice and vinegar in the past. Why not, combine both? Tried the bleaching effect in our favorite dot to dot markers. It got bleached away with ordinary water. So cool. We tried with various papers like copier paper, kitchen towel and coffee filter

Materials
2. Water
3. Copier paper or/and kitchen towel or/and coffee filter
Method
1. Paint with dot to dot marker on the paper of your choice
2. Sprinkle water. The colors will mix and spread all over the paper.
3. Dry the paper.
4. Once the paper is dried, start drawing with or spray water again. This time, the water bleaches the color in the center of the drawings.
5. We tried with various papers. Our favorite is kitchen towel.

It is basically water wash. But it created cool effects. Since water spreads, the output was always different than what we thought. My daughter was thrilled to see the bleaching effect with water.
Again we may do this simple activity with watercolor paper and card stock.
