My preschooler uses the alphabet suncatcher everyday. Whenever she passes our living room, she stands near the suncatcher for few minutes and identifies one or two letters. I made up many alphabet activities with the suncatcher and these are her favorites.

Identify the alphabets and colors
One of the favorite activities of my daughter is to identify the alphabets. When we made the suncatcher, we repeated alphabets few times. Initially to start with, I just asked her to point to the alphabet. Then I gave her the color of the letter to identify the letter in specific color. A color identification in alphabet identification. Since she loves dry erase markers, I made her draw circles around the letter. This is her ultimate favorite. Next favorite part is to wipe off the circles.
Trace the alphabets
Since the foam letters have raised surface, it was so much fun to trace the letters with her index finger. We made sure that she traced the way the letters are written.
Write over the alphabets
My preschooler wrote over the letters with dry erase markers. The suncatcher is like a worksheet for her. She is working on her writing skills too.
Since the suncatcher is covered with contact paper, we used dry erase markers for our activities. Once my daughter finished her activities, she just wipes off with the wipes. A great way to reuse the suncatcher.
