Today’s post is about an alphabet identification activity. As kids and water go together, I need not tell that my preschooler loved this activity as it involved water. I have noticed that she shows a lot of interest if I introduce her to a different sets of medium to work with!
Materials needed:
1. Black or any dark color construction paper
2. Chalk
3. Paint brush
4. Water
Preparation : There is no preparation required for this activity. Write the alphabets in the random order in the dark color construction paper with white chalk.
How to play : Call out a letter. The child should identify the letter and paint the letter with water. It is a very simple activity but daughter enjoyed it thoroughly.
I showed her how to dip the chalk in water and write with it . It was fun for her to write with the wet chalk. So the alphabet identification activity became an alphabet writing activity.
Are you in for a small quiz? Can you identify D, E, F, C and G in the below picture ? 🙂
